Purdue University Student Health Center uses secure messaging to communicate with you regarding your health care. This form of communication is a part of our ongoing effort to improve services by providing a confidential and convenient method of communication.

A secure message is not transmitted like a standard email message. Instead, when you receive an email saying you have received a message from your healthcare provider, you must log on to your Patient Portal located on the PUSH website to view your messages. Since this website is secure, your provider can send messages confidentially.

Secure messaging is used by your provider to provide you with general information, follow up instructions, and test results.  Other PUSH staff may use secure messaging to communicate with you regarding upcoming appointments, or when billing and insurance information is needed.
